The Spring University of Scouting is Saturday, April 22 at Lakeville South High School. This is a great opportunity for adult leaders; Scouts are welcome to register as well. The registration fee is $25 and covers lunch and an entire day (if you want) of classes. Check out the course catalog and register for the event on the Spring 2017 University of Scouting district site

Upcoming Scout Swim Classes

Posted on Feb 10 2017 - 11:53am

Scouters-

I just learned of a scout swim class for any scout that is interested in completing their aquatics requirements- either for rank advancement for our younger scouts or for aquatic-themed merit badges (swimmimg. lifesaving, etc.) for our older scouts.  There is one session per month through the summer and there is no commitment or registration required.  They ask for $5 at the door and any scout may attend.  I am sending this notice out today as there is a session tomorrow morning.  Details can be found on the troop website/calendar.

As of Jan. 1, 2017, all Boy Scouts — regardless of rank — must begin using the new Boy Scout requirements.

Where can I find the new Boy Scout requirements?

The BSA has made it easy for you, providing this printable Handbook insert and this PDF. (Here is the Spanish version.)
